If you’re anything like us, you spend hours on Pinterest. You’ve seen the “must take wedding photo” pins so you know how it goes. You do a search and see the same dozen photos you always do. You keep scrolling, see a pin you like and think, “oh that’s unique,” so you click the link and BAM! There you are again on an article with one unique pin and the same dozen photos you’ve seen before, circa 2010.
Well my lovely reader, we worked very hard to make this a different kind of roundup. You’ll find unique shots, a few new takes on some old poses, and yes a few things you’ve seen before. One thing is for sure though, we promise you’ll love these gorgeous photos since we worked with various photographers to handpick them just for you.

Guests awaited the arrival of the bride, Christina, with conversation and unlimited mimosas. It is a fact, that you can never, ever go wrong with bottomless mimosas.
Christina arrived, and although she knew about the shower, she did not know the theme. We quickly dressed her with a white fascinator and a bride-to-be sash. My sister’s bridal shower was this past Saturday May 28, 2016. Myself and the other bridesmaids have been planning for months. We’re so excited to share the details with you!
The events of the shower will be divided up into two parts. (You can find part 2 here.) This first part will focus on the planning of the shower and give you some tips along the way.
We chose Braddock’s Tavern as the venue which was established in 1898. The chandeliers, mirrors, and even the picture frames are ornate with gold coloring making us confident an English Garden Party theme was the way to go. Once the venue was booked we officially moved into the planning stages!
